The NUS MENA had an eventful 2011,
We started the year by launching our 2nd Panel Discussion "From Singapore to the Middle East" on the 7th April 2011 in the wake of the Arab Spring. Mr Lester Lu (IE Singapore) and Mr Foo Hee Kiang (Hyflux) were invited to participate as speakers for the event.
This was followed by a series of Lunch sessions with Mr Serge Achkouty (INSEAD), Mr Yeo Eng Keat (EDB), Dean Tan (ST Logistics) and Jason Ong (STB) in the 2nd half of the year.
This is not forgetting the Love in the Middle East movie series organised by Choon Hwee in September where a series of 4 movies from the Middle East region was screened on campus.
We are looking forward the 2012 with more events and activities for the NUS MENA.
